Updates of the site
First release: 28/06/1998 (in French only) - 3/01/1999 (the first part of the English site only)
Please note that the French version is more frequently updated than this English one.
- Last updates (May and June, 2019):
- Updates of many external links, mainly from http to https.
- Minor updates of several pages.
- Previous updates (November and December, 2017):
- Javascript scripts and CSS updated to follow the evolutions of the browsers (mainly, solved the issue with Internet Explorer 11 that didn't display the top and bottom of the pages).
- Previous updates (March, 2016):
- Updates of the links to the site of the Tourist Office.
- Previous updates (March, 2015):
- Several updates of the page Tournus and the other French local authorities, including the addition of a map of the new canton.
- Previous updates (February, 2015):
- Full update of the whole site: new design, huge updates of many texts (especially in the English part of the site), still many broken links updated or removed, etc.
- Previous updates (January, 2014):
- Quick update of the whole site (many broken links updated or removed, eStat markers removed from all pages...). An important update of the whole English section about Tournus is still to be done.
- Previous updates (August, 2010):
- 2 new photos of Tournus by night added in the page Photos of Tournus.
- Previous updates (May, 2007):
- The HTML code of the French part of the site has been again entirely revised for an increased accessibility. The code of the whole English part of the site has been revised too but some texts are still to be updated in the section about Tournus.
- Previous updates (December, 2006, and January, 2007):
- The French part of the site has been entirely revised: new index pages for each section, text updates, typing errors fixed, HTML code revised for an increased accessibility. The same work is to be done for the English pages but this will require more job and a long time before I achieve acceptable text updates. However, the updated English versions of the general homepage and the index page of the section about Tournus and several other pages are already on line.
- Previous updates:
- Global revision of the site for a better accessibility with most of the browsers (including text-only browsers such as Lynx). The whole site should be now conform with the W3C's "HTML 4.01 transitional" spec.
- City map updated further to traffic modifications and to the relocation of the Tourist Office, PDF version added.
